Rosana Martinez 62, a long time resident of Sleepy Hollow, NY passed away on June 7, 2018. Rosana was born on Jan. 29, 1956 to the late Antonio and Carmen Julia Molina in Sleepy Hollow, NY. Rosana is survived by her loving husband William Martinez of Sleepy Hollow, NY. Rosana graduated from Sleepy Hollow High School in 1974 and went on to study Sociology and Theater Arts at Marymount College. From 1985-1994 she worked for the Tarrytown School District as a teacher’s aid and translator. She also worked for WestCop at the Tarrytown Community Center as a Youth Program Specialist/ Community Advocate and Translator. Rosana’s passion was the arts, theatre, dance, music, equal rights, early childhood education and her family. Rosana was survived by her caring children Marisol McKeaver (Matthew Tillman), Maria Negron, Julia Riguzzi (Brian), Omaira Martinez (Scott Adams), William Martinez, Freddie Martinez, and Oscar Martinez. Also survived her brothers Antonio Molina, Antonio Rivera, Rico Molina, and her sister Carmen Sol Felicano as well as her niece Elysia Felicano. Rosana is also survived by her fifteen cherished grandchildren Isaiah San Juan, Omar Cabreja, Xavier Rodriguez, Ziel Rodriguez, Jordan Riguzzi, Joshua Rodriguez, Jayna Riguzzi, Layla Cato, Jose Curet, Eva Adams, Julianna Riguzzi, Nadia Tillman, Max Mason Pereda, Nylah Tillman and Matthew Tillman. Reposing, Dwyer & Vanderbilt Funeral Home on Sunday from 12-4 PM. Interment private.
